The twin rotor venturi turbine charges 12 volt batteries on my dog kennel. The batteries power lights and a 400 watt inverter. The turbine is mounted to the mast that use to support the wires from the grid. The turbine demonstrates the ability to supply green energy in an urban enviroment. There is very little noise from the machine and it does not require guy wires to support the unit. This is a quick setup of an AC step up transformer using a 12v automotive relay as an oscillator. The unit happily steps up 12VDC to around 70VAC which is enough to drive a neon light - just barely. However this is the noisy way to do things.
